I need to get the funds to privately transition through GenderCare, I’m transgender and to get hormones is not only lifesaving but will give me a huge boost for my mental and physical wellbeing.

The price for the 2 appointments that I’ll need is £440 but as the clinics are in London, I’ll also need money to travel back and forth and possibly accommodation.

The reason I’ve decided not to go with the NHS to medically transition is that the waiting list for Charring Cross is 2 years MINIMUM and there’s no telling how long it’ll take to get hormones after that, especially after The Tavistock Clinic dropped my case and left me hanging after a year and a half long wait.
