The actual reason why many online sex workers have mental illnesses, is because it’s a convenient job for mentally ill people to have. I started camming because the idea of having to leave my house to work everyday, was almost impossible. Being able to make a living from my home is a god send and I’m almost about 100% sure other online sex workers were/are in similar situations. So the only reason many sex workers have mental illnesses isn’t because of our job. We are mentally ill and online sex work gives us an opportunity to be successful, whilst being comfortable.
