I hate the fact that the sentence “mummies are rare because we ate them” is factual.

I am so happy to be the one to introduce you to the horrible few hundred years where Europeans regularly consumed ground Egyptian mummies.

Not to mention we used to paint with them, though apparently it would crack terribly on the canvas within a few years.
