kaurou:

The fact that moonlight wasn’t as appreciated as gay representation as shows/movies like the 100, skam, eyewitness, carol, shadowhunters, etc or even like fucking riverdale or captain america (which don’t feature any gay couples/people lmfao) shows how little some of you people care about black people (specifically gay black people). We were blessed with this breathtakingly beautiful film about being black and being gay which was so underappreciated in general but especially on this website, and especially by bloggers who claim to be so in favor of gay representation but never saw the movie because they can’t sit through 2 hours of film without seeing a white person on screen.
